Dlala Nje logo design
A few friends of ours recently opened up a games emporium in Ponte Tower, Hillbrow and I was asked to design the logo for it. Dlala Nje means Just Play in Zulu and the logo represents a community coming together to have fun and share their ideas and aspirations with eachother. This is more than just a community up-liftment project, it is becoming a big part of so many children's lives in the community and has become the social hub of the building. This emporium gives children the opportunity to get together, make friends and most importantly, keep off the streets of Hillbrow. I am happy to be a part of this revolution and am excited for what's next. :) To find out more about Dlala Nje visit their facebook page here.

Pooping Puppies
These stemmed from my little obsession with triangles, I threw some triangles together and decided on a concept as I went along. These are 4 pooping puppies. Don't ask what breed each one is, I just know they're puppies and their poops are shaped like triangles.

Pumped Up Kicks
So here's the result of the Toitoy X PUMA collaborative collection. Just to refreshhhh your memory, the theme was 'The streets you live on.' And I basically wanted to create awareness through this project. The name of my collection is Pumped Up Kicks which is the title of a song by Foster the People. The song deals with angry teens who have criminal intentions. Pumped up kicks were the shoes rich kids wore in the 90s and the States had a lot of cases where these kids would be targeted because they wore them. I directed my theme to the street violence in Johannesburg.

1000 Drawings
1000 drawings is an annual event in Joburg where people give in their illustrations on an A5 paperat selected stores up until the 1000 drawings event. On the night, all the illustrations go up where people can purchase them for R100 each. The money goes to charity. I think it's such an amazing initiative. Here are some pics...

I got the whole world...
I love maps! Particulary the maps you find in the National Geographic magazines. They are so colourful and lovely but they are hard to come by so I was really glad when I came accross a second hand bookstore where they sold NG magazines and there it was ... a magazine with a 'Map included' sticker on it. :) I had to get it framed.
